The European Center for Jewish Students (ECJS) is dramatically changing the landscape of Jewish young adults across Europe. Based in Brussels, ECJS is a non‐profit, apolitical organization that caters to the needs and interests of all Jewish students and young professionals, regardless of background or affiliation.
ECJS provides educational, social and cultural activities throughout the year, including trips to historical Jewish sites, Shabbat meals, stimulating lectures on contemporary Jewish issues, and network opportunities for students and young professionals. We provide students with a true and wholesome Jewish experience.
Despite the current difficulties with Covid-19, ECJS continues to provide support for students. Activities at this time include local Shabbat and Jewish Holiday packages, international interactive Zoom classes, individual personal support, Coronacrush Speed-dating, and small group meet ups. There are also appropriate services and meals happening in Brussels for Shabbats. For Chanukah, ECJS is providing students with a FREE Chanukiah. For more information on these programs or to request a FREE Chanukiah, please do not hesitate to contact us.
